Praia do Costa (Twilight Beach)

Praia do Costa is a secluded beach on Saco do Mamanguá, an eight-kilometre sea inlet near Paraty surrounded by Atlantic Forest. Accessible primarily by boat, the beach is known for calm green water and a mountainous shoreline. It became known as Twilight Beach after the beach and honeymoon scenes for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 (2011) were filmed here and at the adjacent Casa em Paraty, which doubled as the fictional Isle Esme.
