Pedra Bonita

São Conrado

Pedra Bonita is a mountain in the Pedra da Gávea/Pedra Bonita sector of Tijuca National Park. A short trail leads to its broad rocky summit, with panoramic views over São Conrado, Barra da Tijuca and Rio de Janeiro's South Zone. The mountain is also known for one of the city's busiest free-flight sites, where hang gliders and paragliders launch above the Atlantic Forest and the coast.
