Santa Marta is a hillside community on Morro Dona Marta in Botafogo, Rio de Janeiro. Its steep alleys, dense brick houses, inclined railway and wide views toward Botafogo Bay and Sugarloaf Mountain make it one of the city's most recognizable favela landscapes.
